Who are Mini Mentor Sessions for?

  • Undergraduate and Graduate students in Psychology and Social Work who want personalized guidance on classes, internships, grad school, or early-career planning.

What happens during a Mini Mentor Session?

  • Discuss your specific questions.

How long is each session?

  • 30 minutes. Designed to be focused and actionable.

Can I schedule a longer session?

  • Mini Mentor Sessions are capped at 30 minutes.

  • If you’d like more time to discuss your concerns, we can discuss alternative options.

What is the difference between Individual and Group sessions?

  • Individual sessions offer one on one support, are tailored, and private.

  • Group sessions are great for friends/classmates with similar questions.

Are you only available Virtually or can we meet In Person?

  • Sessions are only available Virtually right now.

  • If you’d like to request an In Person session, please reach out to discuss options.

Do I need to prepare anything?

  • Preparation isn’t required.

  • It may help to bring a list of questions, your resume (if you have one), and any grad school or career ideas you’d like to explore.

How do I schedule and pay?

  • Click the Individual or Group button above. Direct emailing with Trisha is the only way to schedule.

  • Payment is due at the beginning of the scheduled session.

Can I book more than one session?

  • Yes! Many students schedule follow-up sessions as they move through different stages of their programs or job search.

  • If you are looking for more consistent guidance, reach out to discuss other options.

What is the cancelation / reschedule policy?

  • 24 hours is required to cancel and be offered reschedule options.

  • If you are outside the 24 hour window of your scheduled appointment, rescheduling is easy. Just send an email and we will find another time that works.

  • If you are inside the 24 hour window, I will do my best to offer alternative time slots within the same week if available, with no guarantees. If you are a same day cancel, you will be required to pay first before scheduling another appointment.

Someone in our group is unavailable, what do we do?

  • If you are outside 24 hours from your scheduled appointment you are welcome to cancel/reschedule.

  • If you are inside 24 hours from your scheduled appointment, the appointment will remain as scheduled.

Do you have a refund policy?

  • There is a strict No Refunds policy.

Is this therapy?

  • No. Mini Mentor Sessions are not therapy and do not take the place of therapy.

  • These sessions are mentoring/coaching services that offer guidance and support.

Is anything additional provided during these sessions?

  • Additional handouts, letters, reports, diagnoses, evaluations, assessments, summaries or any other forms of documentation are not provided for or in regards to Mini Mentor Sessions.

Can I record the session?

  • No. There is a strict No Recording policy when attending a Mini Mentor Session or working with Trisha Rossi in any capacity.

  • Trisha requires written request, discussion, and written approval for any type of recording.

  • Trisha strongly recommends taking notes during these sessions.
